Michael Ausiello of Entertainment Weekly has confirmed that Michelle will be returning for Gossip Girl’s second season:

Batten down the hatches, Upper East Siders — Hurricane Georgina is blowing back into town.

Sources confirm to me exclusively that Michelle Trachtenberg is reprising her role as Blake Lively’s arch nemesis on Gossip Girl for multiple episodes.

A Gossip rep declined to comment, but my UES mole says Georgina, who was last seen being carted off to the Kimberly Shaw Correctional Institute for Psycho Bitches, will reappear toward the end of the season.Batten down the hatches, Upper East Siders — Hurricane Georgina is blowing back into town.

Several other media sites are also reporting the news, confirming speculation we had a few weeks back. Hopefully we get official confirmation from The CW soon! I wonder what Georgina’s crazy storyline will be this time. Yay, I’m so excited! :)

In other news I’ve found a ton of outtakes from Michelle’s photoshoot for Mean magazine, they were taken by Michael Muller, I’ve seen some of these before but only lower quality. Michelle looks stunning as always. Thanks to Angie for also giving me a heads up!

I have the next few days off working so I’ll be finally putting up one or more Holiday Posts so please check back!!

As soon as I posted the previous update I found some new images and information ;) The official site for Against the Current has been updated again, it has more info on the Sundance screening, the film, cast and crew and new promotional images, including one of the lovely Michelle. Only two and a half weeks until it starts screening, I wish I could go! We will all have the premiere to look forward to though and hopefully it will show in theatres or be distributed on DVD.

Also I came across more untagged images of the Perry Hagopian photoshoot, thanks to Claire for the heads up! The shoot was part of a feature for InStyle.com, a hairstyle class for Michelle with Oscar Blandi. You can read the article here.

‘I want to learn how to get a little more height without having to tease like crazy’.

Happy New Year! I hope everyone has a happy and safe holiday and a great New Year! :) Things are slow at the moment, no news, info or images, I am sure Michelle is enjoying the holiday period. I’ve put together another Holiday Post, yay!, the final Buffy episode 7×22 Chosen (it is very spoilery for those who wish to watch the series).

Buffy: Dawn…
Dawn: No. Anything you say is gonna sound like good-bye.

Michelle’s part is small but still important, Dawn has the last line of the series. There will be another Holiday Post over the next few days, now I have finished Buffy I will focus on Truth or Scare, The Adventures of Pete and Pete and some of Michelle’s films. Keep checking back!!

First Against the Current promo image, new InStyle photoshoot, Holiday Post #9!: Buffy 7×06 Him, 7×12 Potential!

First news and updates!! Yay!, the first promotional image for Against the Current (picturing Michelle) has finally being released, she looks gorgeous as Suzanne. I hope to see more of them soon.

As part of the Holiday Post yesterday I mentioned a new photoshoot, here it is :) It was taken in September by Perry Hagopian for InStyle. I could only find one good quality image, the others are tagged but still worth seeing! Michelle looks gorgeous in blue.

Now onto the Holiday Post!, episodes 7×06 Him and 7×12 Potential. I totally forgot about 7×06 yesterday.

Buffy: Come on, Dawnie. Come out. Dawn, sweetheart, it’s not that bad.
Dawn: How would you even know? R.J.’s never gonna notice me now.
Buffy: From what you said, I’m sure he already noticed you, I mean with the falling and the—(Dawn squeaks, closes door) spirit. Spirit. They said you were spirited, right?

Xander: I saw what you did last night.
Dawn: Yeah, I— (shakes her head embarrassed) I guess I kinda lost my head when I thought I was the slayer.
Xander: You thought you were all special. Miss Sunnydale 2003. And the minute you found out you weren’t, you handed the crown to Amanda without a moment’s pause. You gave her your power.
Dawn: The power wasn’t mine.
Xander: They’ll never know how tough it is, Dawnie, to be the one who isn’t chosen. To live so near to the spotlight and never step in it. But I know. I see more than anybody realizes because nobody’s watching me. I saw you last night. I see you working here today. You’re not special. You’re extraordinary.
Dawn: Maybe that’s your power.
Xander: What?
Dawn: Seeing. Knowing.
Xander: Maybe it is. Maybe I should get a cape.
Dawn: Cape is good.
Xander: Yeah.

Episode 7×06 Him is a light episode, its nothing too dramatic but it has serious undertones, Dawn is awesome in this episode, I especially love when she cheers and the part with Buffy, Spike and the bazooka (it makes me laugh every time). Michelle is lovely and funny in this episode. Episode 7×12 Potential is Dawn’s best episode and Michelle is amazing in it, the episode deals with the possibility of Dawn being a potential slayer and although it is shown that she isn’t we the audience see how Dawn has really become her own person and not just Buffy’s sister, I absolutely love the end scene between Dawn and Xander, its sweet and a beautiful moment between the two of them.

Holiday Post #8!: Buffy 7×01 Lessons

Yay holiday post!, episode 7×01 Lessons.

Buffy: It’s real. It’s the only lesson, Dawn. It’s always real. Let me see.
Dawn: It’s nothing, it’s just a scrape. Plus, I had a plan the whole time.
Buffy: Really?
Dawn: Yeah, I planned to get killed, come back as a vampire, and bite you.
Buffy: You wanted to be trained.
Dawn: Well, just the next time when you’re gonna disa—
Buffy: You did pretty well.
Dawn: I did?
Buffy: Yeah.
Dawn: ‘Cause, you know, with the whole rolling thing, I was actually using his strength, and it was very tai chi. Plus I nearly got the heart.
Buffy: My first time out, I missed the heart too.
Dawn: No way.
Buffy: Just the once.

This is one of my favourite Dawn episodes, Michelle is lovely in season seven, her character is more mature, adorable and funny. And Dawn fights her first vampire. I will have another holiday post up tomorrow (Christmas Eve for me, time difference!) or early Christmas Day, episode 7×12 Potential, maybe some Truth or Scare (if I’ve got the time) and a new photoshoot, its a surprise :)

More new candids!: Michelle shopping at Barneys New York, Holiday Post #7!: Buffy 6×22 Grave!

More new candids!: Michelle and a friend were shopping at Barneys New York on the 18th, she looks lovely as always.

New holiday post, episode 6×22 Grave, sorry it took so long to get this up, I’ve been busy working and Christmas shopping, however I am planning on putting a few episodes up before Christmas.

Dawn: Why did you not tell me?
Buffy: Because you didn’t need to know.
Dawn: Yes, I do. I need to know! I’m not a kid anymore.
Buffy: Dawn, I’m trying to protect you.
Dawn: Well, you can’t! Look around, Buffy. We’re trapped in here! Willow’s killing and people I love keep dying! And you cannot protect me from that.

This episode is not heavily focused on Dawn but there is big progression for the character, for the first time Dawn really shows Buffy and the audience she’s not a child who needs to be protected but a young woman who can handle the big scary stuff, plus she kills some demons!! This more mature arc for Dawn is continued into season seven. The next episode up will be 7×01 Lessons.

New candids!: Michelle and boyfriend at Club Guy’s, Holiday Post #6!: Buffy 6×14 Older and Far Away!

New candids!: Michelle and her boyfriend were spotted outside Club Guy’s in West Hollywood on the 13th, she looks lovely as usual.

Yay! Here is the next holiday post, episode 6×14 Older and Far Away.

Dawn: It’s not like I meant for this to happen.
Buffy: I never said that you did.
Dawn: I didn’t want this.
Buffy: What did you want?
Dawn: Nothing.
Buffy: Dawn, come on.
Dawn: No. You don’t know! You have this thing you do. You have all these friends. (softly) You have no idea what it’s like.
Buffy: What are you talking about? I don’t know what, what-
Dawn: Being alone!
Buffy: You’re not alone!
Dawn: Then why do I feel like this?

This is very much a character progression episode for Dawn, for the first time the issues and problems she has to deal with are brought to light. This episode is focused on Dawn and her relationship with Buffy and the rest of the group. Michelle is amazing, you can really feel Dawn’s isolation and pain.

I was very busy over the weekend so I haven’t had time to clip Truth or Scare but I should be able to over the next couple of days. The next Buffy episode will be 6×22 Grave.

Holiday Post #6!: Buffy 6×06 All the Way, Against the Current news and Sundance show times!

Holiday post, episode 6×06 All the Way.

Buffy: Were you parking?! With a vamp?
Dawn: I-I didn’t know he was dead!
Justin: Living dead.
Dawn: Shut up!
Buffy: How could you not know?
Dawn: I just met him!
Buffy: Oh! Oh, so you were parking in the woods with a boy you just met.
Justin: We’ve seen each other at parties.
Buffy: Shut up.

This is a fun episode, it shows how Dawn has grown since season five and it is great character progression within the series. This episode is one of the bigger Dawn ones, it focuses mostly on that character. Michelle is awesome as always and her hair is really pretty :) I didn’t have time to clip any Truth or Scare, I’ll try to do that over the weekend when I am not busy working! The next Buffy episode will be 6×14 Older and Far Away.

In news the official site for Against the Current has been updated with a new poster (no Michelle on it but you can find it in the gallery) and show times for the Sundance Film Festival, they are:

Sun Jan 18 8:30 PM Library Center Theatre, Park City
Mon Jan 19 11:30 AM Library Center Theatre, Park City
Thu Jan 22 2:15 PM Racquet Club, Park City
Sat Jan 24 6:45 PM Broadway Centre Cinemas V, SLC

I am guessing that the premiere will be a few days before those dates.

Holiday Post #4!: Buffy 5×22 The Gift!

Holiday post, episode 5×22 The Gift! Sorry its a little later than I promised.

Buffy: What are you doing?
Dawn: I have to jump. The energy.
Buffy: It’ll kill you.
Dawn: I know. Buffy, I know about the ritual. I have to stop it.
Buffy: No.
Dawn: I have to. Look at what’s happening. Buffy, you have to let me go. Blood starts it, and until the blood stops flowing, it’ll never stop. You know you have to let me. It has to have the blood.

I love this episode, it is possibly my second or third favourite. The story arc of Glory and The Key is concluded in this episode, the season finale. Michelle’s part throughout the episode is minimal until the concluding scenes. The last scene between Buffy and Dawn is beautifully acted by Sarah and Michelle, it was even voted the most memorable Drama moment as part of the Emmys this year. If you haven’t watched Buffy before these scenes are worth watching, especially the last one, it shows what Buffy truly is as a series.

The next holiday post will probably be up tomorrow, Buffy 6×06 All the Way, and maybe some Truth or Scare.
